The Dewey Post

Went with my family and was very impressed. We ordered the apple pancakes for my daughter, my wife got the blueberry waffle, and I got the burrito with a side of fruit. I can honestly say their waffle was better than the Belgian waffles we got on our honeymoon in Belgium! The scrapple in the burrito was excellent. The orange crush was good and the service was quick with a nice waitress. I dont usually rave about a breakfast but this place was worth the money. I also feel 67$ (before tip) for a top notch breakfast in a beach town isnt bad.

Magnificent Chicken & Waffles. Friendly service. Food came out fast. It was our first time trying this restaurant and we will certainly be back when we’re in the area. Parking was close and convenient. We sat outside and our table was in the shade. 10/10 would recommend!

Dewey Post is such a great breakfast spot in Dewey Beach! The portions are huge, everything tastes fresh, and the biscuits are absolutely delicious.
I ordered the 3-egg special with home fries, bacon, and a biscuit, and it was so much food — and every bite was tasty. Breakfast is definitely where this place shines, although they also have a nice selection of salads and wraps, plus fresh pastries.
They serve alcohol as well, but since it was a weekday morning, I behaved and stuck with tea! 😊
There are tons of options on the menu, and the atmosphere is cute, casual, and completely unpretentious. If you’re hungry and anywhere near Dewey Beach, Dewey Post is definitely a spot to put on your list. Come hungry!
