UPDATE (10/7/25): I went back to Surf Bagel in Milford, DE and spoke with the manager, Terry. He handled the issue very well. He was professional, personable, and apologetic for our two experiences. And though we did not ask for any recompense, he had me take a gift card for a next visit. We will give them another try based on how he cared about our concerns and exercised good customer relations.
I am also pleased to see that the owners read their reviews, respond, and take customer experience seriously. Thank you to Katie. :-)

Sadly disappointed with the staff. We recently moved into the Milford area and were glad to find Surf Bagel there. BUT, we’ve been there twice as of today (Sat 10/4) and both times our bagel orders were done incorrectly. And unfortunately we didn’t discover it either time until well after we had left and driven a ways away.
The first time the staff put the wrong cream cheese on our bagels…not what we ordered.
Today, the staff failed to put cheese on our egg+bacon+CHEESE bagel breakfast sandwich. We ordered, and paid for, the cheese.
I’ll be making a special trip back up there tomorrow (Sunday) to speak with a manager. Let’s see how well they handle their Customer Service and Relations…..
Surf Bagel, your staff need to do better, be more diligent, and get customers’ orders correct.

From the food, staff and atmosphere the vibe is just always chill at this place
I got the scrapple, egg, hash brown on a sesame bagel. We call it Delaware native special
My girl got the bacon special which is bacon, egg, cheese and has brown on sesame bagel
They were on point with it
Can’t forget the bev add chocolate milk and it’s best in town
Parking is free & easy
Bathroom is clean
They do accept pay to tap

It's Surf Bagel, I dare you to find a better Bagel place in DE. The bagels are made fresh every day, they make sandwiches with them (my personal favorite is an egg and turkey on an egg everything bagel) and you can buy bagels just to take home. It's a staple in weekend breakfasts in my household. Also the service is always friendly there, I have yet to meet an unpleasant person here and I seriously doubt I will.
