Newly renovated rooms make this place a great choice for the money. The pool area in the middle is giving "back rooms" vibes😂, but the friendly service at the front is very welcoming. This is a great spot if you're just looking for convenient access to a really nice beach without the crowds of the more southern beaches, since it is an overwhelmingly residential area. Away from all the drama of OC. My only complaint is the very bright lighting at the top of the building. It shines in if you're on the top floor. Otherwise: A nice- low-key alternative at a great value.

The rooms are very basic, but functional sliding glass door was so hard to operate. My wife couldn't operate it. The a c was on a setting called cool, and the room was very cold but moist found out at the end, there's a setting called dry, which makes it cool and dry. The staff for the most part was very accommodating. We were informed on wednesday afternoon, the water was gonna be cut off for a repair job. With no warning, they turned the water off, said it would be an hour until it came back on. It was off for 5 hours, never came back on until nine thirty. Expect to be compensated greatly somehow for this inconvenience. After all, couldn't brush your teeth. Couldn't flush your toilet. Couldn't take a shower. What good is a hotel room if those things aren't available? Manager offered me fifty percent off.My next stay for the first night.I was not interested in ever staying at this place again. For a little more money, we could have stayed at the Fenwick islander, which we have before and had a very pleasant experience. I will never stay here again.Would encourage you to also not stay here. People who are in the customer service business need to know how to offer customer service.

For the second consecutive year, we were exceptionally pleased with the outstanding service provided during our recent visit. The staff consistently surpassed expectations to ensure our comfort and contentment. Every interaction was marked by genuine cordiality and attentiveness.
