The owners of Rosenfeld’s Jewish Delicatessen are extremely passionate about bringing traditional, Jewish, old-world favorites to the public, whether locals, part-time residents or those on vacation. Our goal is to have the best “Jewish food museum” found anywhere. My wife and I came on a Tuesday at lunch time. We were seated immediately by the owner. The restaurant is really well decorated. I love the art work on the wall. They start you off with some dill spears. We ordered the pickle plate. The highlight of this was the pickled tomatoes. I had the Pappy Joe and my wife had the bunch a’ baloney Reuben. Mine was really well made. I had the 8oz portion. The Cole slaw added a nice little sweetness to the sandwich. I also recommend dipping it in the spicy brown mustard. My wife really liked her sandwich. She said the fry on the baloney was great and added to the texture. She did say to eat the sandwich quickly, because the Cole slaw juice will soften the nicely grilled bread. We both got bread pudding for dessert but that will be an addition for later. Take the opportunity to enjoy a great meal. I really want to try other things there, maybe next vacation!!!

I've been going here for years. They have the best Reuben sandwiches and matzo ball soup, with delicious rotating desserts. The dining room features fun murals celebrating notable Jewish celebs. As a Marylander, I'm sad that their Ocean City location has closed, but I make it a point to visit the Rehoboth location on my way to Cape Henlopen State Park or Rehoboth Beach. Pro tip: bring a to-go matzo ball soup to the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk and enjoy your meal while sitting in the sand (even in winter!). Just watch out for seagulls who may want a bite.
