We stayed here last week for 5 nights. A lot of the reviews are correct - crappy tv remotes, loud atmosphere, sticky floors, outdated rooms, etc. For the price, none of these things bothered me. My bed was comfy, the ACs worked well, the room was extremely large, and the pool was nice. The TV in the living room was staticky so we couldn’t watch it (wasn’t an issue though because we come to the beach to be at the beach, not inside the room.) The breakfast was poor - there were muffins and breads, coffee/juice, and cereal - which you had to walk next door for. Cracker Barrel is conveniently in the parking lot though! The pool hours kinda sucked - 10a-8p. There were no extra blankets anywhere but housekeeping was nice and kept up with clean towels. They came to our room every morning asking if we needed anything. We used a griddle to cook in our room and the fire alarm didn’t go off. Each bed had two pillows. The people outside the room in the parking lot were extremely loud and we could hear people walking above our room at night. Overall, not a horrible hotel for the price if you’re not picky and expecting a 5 star hotel. I actually plan to stay here again, just going to bring my own extra blankets and pillows.

Ok so first we get to our room and there’s a hole in the door frame. They didnt care. There was mold on the refrigerator and in the bathroom. There was still stuff in the freezer from the last guest. Then to top it all off we got locked in our room. When they sent someone to the room the guy was passing gas in the doorway the entire time. They didn’t change linens the week we were there and we had to go to the front desk for toilet paper. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience we have ever had.

We had booked and fully paid for 3 nights through Booking.com. When we arrived to check in, instead of being welcomed, we were told by an extremely rude receptionist that we would not be given our room because the hotel had not yet received the payment from Booking.com. He could clearly see that we had already paid, but simply said it was "not his problem."

We spent over an hour on the phone with Booking.com, paying around €110 in international phone charges, trying to resolve a situation that should never have existed in the first place. Booking.com confirmed our payment and tried to contact the hotel, but the hotel refused every proposed solution. Despite proof that we had paid in full, they still refused to honor our reservation.

As a result, at around 5:00 p.m., in a foreign country, we suddenly found ourselves without anywhere to stay for the night. No apology. No empathy. No attempt to help. Absolutely nothing.

What makes this even more suspicious is that once Booking.com cancelled our reservation, we asked if we could simply book a room directly with the hotel. They refused. This left us with the strong impression that they no longer had any rooms available and were using the payment issue as an excuse. We cannot prove this, but it certainly felt that way.

To make matters worse, we were not the only guests at reception facing exactly the same problem. Clearly, this was not an isolated incident.

A hotel should never leave paying guests stranded because of a dispute with a booking platform. That is an issue between the hotel and Booking.com, not the customer, who has already paid.

The receptionist's attitude was appalling: dismissive, arrogant, and completely unwilling to help. Not once did he apologize or show the slightest concern for the situation we had been put in.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Being left homeless in a foreign country after paying in full is simply unacceptable. This experience completely ruined the beginning of our trip, and we would never consider staying here again.
