I really enjoyed this place, music playing, bartender checked on us, kept conversation going, great food. I usually don't order food when I drink but let me tell you! ughh the cheese steak w/ tater tots are a GO! drinks were amazing (fresh) and strong ("fancy drinks") although not too many people were here when I went, everyone here kept the place alive and I loved that!

This bar felt like home as soon as I got there. Bartender was prompt with a greeting even though he was busy. He did this just to let us know he sees us and will be with us shortly, which modern bartenders don't do anymore. Shoot, half the time they don't even say hi at all, so it was nice to have a nice greeting.
The beer prices are very good, as was the food prices.
I had a smash burger and it was great! Dad had the tossed tenders and he said they were perfectly fried and the flavor was great.
The place had a great atmosphere for the World Cup, and then line to get in ended up out the door. It was a great experience and will be back many times.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this place is amazing. Great service, fantastic food, top notch beer. Can’t go wrong here. And on Christmas Day for the level of service, impeccable. I will certainly be back. Beats a lot of places in DC. Come here anytime with family or friends. They will take care of you.
