Irish Eyes Pub is awesome! Great food, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere. Always a great time!

I’ve had many people recommend this restaurant to me, so I had high expectations. Overall the food was good and came out quickly, but a little expensive for the quality. However I understand being close the beach I expected to pay more, but our service was honestly some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Normally I wouldn’t put the blame on the server, because I get it. Once we were sat at our table we waited 10 minutes to be greeted, which is understandable if it were busy, but it was quite slow. Once we got our drink and food order in we did not see our server again until it was time to ask for boxes and check, with no explanation or apology for her lack of service. Meanwhile we’re waiting in need napkins and refills, and part of our order was wrong. Not to mention our waitress seemed very tired and unhappy to be at work. Which to me just sets a bad tone as a customer.

Now this is where I want to call out the managers and not put all the blame on our server. Although it wasn’t very busy, maybe our server had a large table in a section I couldn’t see… but if so, this is when a manager or other team member needs to step up and help.
If there is no explanation for our server neglecting her tables, then more PROPER training needs to be done. Seriously, train servers how to SERVE, not just learn the menu and table numbers.
If I didn’t have friends and family recommending this spot and telling me their positive experiences, my only impression of the restaurant would be terrible. Step up management.

It was our 1st time here!! We've been looking for new places to eat and this place is an excellent choice!! My husband had the Reuben sandwich, and I had Shepherds pie!! We both enjoyed our meals very much! We also had a Crab Pretzels as an app, delicious!!
We will be back!!
