Grotto Pizza

I was really disappointed with my experience. The Alfredo pasta was extremely dry and had very little sauce, which made it hard to enjoy. I politely asked for extra sauce, but was told that the manager said there would be an additional $3 charge. I understand businesses have policies, but for a dish that was already lacking sauce, it was frustrating to be charged extra just to make it edible. I hope they consider improving the consistency of the dish and being more accommodating when customers feel something isn’t prepared properly.

We have had multiple great experiences here! This location has grown into our “locals” hangout! The main reason is because of the bartender that consistently goes above and beyond…. Jacqi! Although she is a Dallas fan, she is hands down the best bartender to hang with on football Sundays! Actually, since we moved here in 2019, she is the reason we visit each week! Oh yea… the food is delicious and the entire staff is like family! We also adore Amanda at the bar on a Friday…. You can’t go wrong,!

Jackie the bartender said she could not take our order because the computers were down. We sat for an hour watching others get their food and tables that were seated after us get their order taken. It was Not busy. We asked Jackie about it and she said the server taking orders must have gotten different directions than she did. I had one glass of wine I did not finish and my husband had a diet coke. The bill was 7.50. I tipped 3.00. We were going to leave. My husband went back in and asked for the Manager to complain. The hostess said he was to busy to come out it would be 15 minutes. We left. No to Grotto in Long Neck. Sad part is I had 2 girlfriends that worked at the Harvey's Lake Pa location and I have been a patron for 35 years. In Long Neck we never really felt welcome. Folks need to realize the money and tips dont just come from native Delawareans. It is a resort town. Sorry not sorry.
