What a great place! The team of servers, hosts and managers collaborated to provide awesome service. The food experience was amazing. We had the 4 course fondue and they offering unlimited extra dippers except the proteins. So much food. So yummy. Oh and the expresso martini was on point.

We arrived just after 9:30 PM on a weekend evening, eager to enjoy the restaurant’s four-course tasting menu. Unfortunately, our late arrival meant the kitchen was no longer offering that option—a bit of a letdown given the empty dining room and the fact that the only available reservation slots online were all after 9:30. The hostess—who doubled as bartender—politely explained the cutoff, and although we were disappointed, we understood the need to wrap up the evening menu on schedule. With only a few tables still occupied in the dining room, we opted to settle at the bar to avoid holding anyone up.

The restaurant’s own branded spirits are displayed behind the counter. While they don’t pour many mainstream liquors, the selection of local beers and an interesting roster of domestic and imported wines provided plenty of alternatives.

For our meal, we decided to share the buffalo-tempura shrimp as an appetizer and the house-style fondue as our entrée. The shrimp arrived perfectly crispy, though we found the buffalo seasoning to be somewhat muted—craving a bit more heat and tang. In contrast, the silky broth fondue was a revelation: rich, deeply savory, and bursting with herbal aromatics that paired beautifully with chicken, steak, shrimp and vegetables. It was comforting and indulgent—just the sort of dish that makes a humble night out feel special, even without a four-course progression.

Our bartender was cordial and attentive, but on a nearly deserted night, you could tell she was juggling several responsibilities—taking drink orders, seating latecomers, and even covering a small table in the back. As a result, service was a little slow at times. By the time we finished, we agreed that it was well worth the short drive—no need to venture all the way to Wilmington when such thoughtful cooking and a warm atmosphere await closer to home.

All told, we enjoyed our improvised bar-side dinner and left with full bellies and satisfied smiles. Next time, we’ll aim to arrive a bit earlier—ideally before the 9:30 PM cutoff—so we can indulge in the full four-course experience.

Hands down one of the top restaurants in the State of Delaware. The food is so wonderful. The food profiles cover multiple flavors per bite. There is depth to the food here. This is a perfect date night location or outing with friends. This is a gem in Milford. You have to try it!
