Room was clean with a decent sized fridge. Didn’t swim but the pool looked clean. Breakfast was just bagels/muffins and cereal not bad but also not super filling.
Location was very convenient. Staff were very friendly.

Keeping in mind that this is an Econo Lodge and not a luxury hotel like many of you seem to expect, it was a great value for the price. We stayed for 5 nights and the only complaint I had is that we booked a non-smoking room, and immediately upon entering, it smelled like smoke. It stopped after you were in the room for a minute or two, but didn’t even realize smoking rooms were still a thing. The floor could have been cleaned a bit better but other than that, we really had no issues. Our housekeeper personally checked in with us each day and called the room to see if we needed anything if we didn’t happen to run into her in the hallway already. It was just a place to shower and sleep, we didn’t use the pool or breakfast. Distance to the beach is not bad at all. We got to Dewey in under 10 mins even with traffic. I would have no issues rebooking!

Good value for the money if you need to be close to Rehoboth beach or other nearby beaches. Conveniently on route 1 and close to restaurants & stores.

Seemed like it had a lot of families and/or tourists. No wild parties or scary people on our visit.

Only area that needs improvement is ventilation in the room. You open the door to an overpowering smell of chemical deodorizer. Running the (noisy) AC didn't really clear it. When we returned to room a few hours later, the overpowering chemical smell was still there.

Staff was polite.

Pool was clean.

Continental breakfast was a really nice freebie
