Crosswinds

I was actually quite shocked at how good this place was for the price. It was an extremely easy check-in, completely done through after hours mailboxes. It's a millennial dream to not have to speak to a human being after a day of travel. I was thrilled. The rooms are extremely small which is to be expected, but the beds were comfortable and they provided a mini fridge, shampoo, body wash, lotion, plenty of towels and washcloths, of course TV. there's plenty of free parking and an outdoor space to smoke or relax although I didn't see anybody using it while we were here. there's no elevator, so if you can't take stairs you would have to get a bottom floor room. I thought it was really cute that they had a chair at the end of every floor on both sides for people who wanted to relax or smoke, with a cute plant right next to it. our floors did get the bottom of my feet black but otherwise the room was spotless and I doubt that was normal, they might have just missed a messy spot or something. overall this is going to be our place to stay going forward. it was within walking distance to the beach, although definitely not a quick walk. I'm sure people would be thrilled that there's a Starbucks across the street, although there are plenty of local coffee places that you should frequent instead. The liquor store across the street looked pretty solid too.

While this hotel is in the most perfect location for visiting Rehoboth Beach the cleanliness of the floors really need to be looked at better. In the first room we had the hair dryer didn't work the air conditioner rattled all night long so no one slept. Make sure if you stay here you do not take room 306 next to the laundry room There's a major hum in there that will def affect your night's sleep. Luckily we dealt with Ethan who also works at their sister Hotel down the street. He found us the right bulb and put us in a new room. It was a handicap room but it was just for one night but the floors were absolutely filthy! Oh yeah and the hair dryer was broken in there too Ethan stepped right up to the plate and got us another one! I would also like to say Patrick was the best he promised me a room when I made a phone call before I came down here and he had it ready for us on the 3rd floor. The staff in the office are outstanding. Their sister Hotel up the street is part of the Hilton brand I would think that they would be inclined to keep this place up as well as they keep up the other one. All in all I would consider staying here again based on the staff and hoping that some of the issues that we brought to their attention will be taken care of

Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, up-to-date flooring and furniture. Well-priced and minimal, with a larger square footage than expected. Would definitely stay again!
