When I come down from my podunk expletive-hole town in Western Pennsylvania, I make a huge effort to eat here. I love the way it’s a casual, no-BS place that also has friendly and welcoming staff. The food is incredibly fresh and the always having a huge variety of local seafood. They have a well thought out selection of adult beverages which includes a daily sangria - absolutely perfect for sipping next to the bay. The atmosphere is unmatched. They have plenty of adorable outdoor seating with nautical decor. Even the ash tower out front is made to look like a red channel buoy! The whole place is the epitome of down home, honest, and fresh.

We have been frequenting Captain Mac’s annually the past 4 years and their crabs/fish/seafood are by far the best in terms of freshness and pricing! We got their jumbo crabs (largest size of the day). We drove from NYC and are already looking forward to our next annual trip in 2027! Highly recommend!!

What a wonderful place. Didn't know much about it, but once I found out I went there twice in one week. I don't think I've ever seen such Quality Seafood balanced with a friendly price. I've been guilty of visiting other establishments based on name. Beleive me, I found out I paid for the name not the quality of seafood that was served. Lobster, crab cakes, salmon, clams, Old Bay waffle chips. The owner Bruce was incredible to talk to about obtaining quality seafood and the lengths he goes to get it. Bright cheery place well decorated and great staff. Kudos to a job well done!
