Normally when we order take out it is very delicious, great portions of food. That speaks volumes to a local. Tonight however was a bit of a disappointment. I tried something different. The pot roast with mash potatoes and asparagus which there was an uncharge for. I received 3 pieces of asparagus and a very small portion of mashed potatoes, which was smashed down to look like a good sized portion. Not the norm. Called Morgan the manager and she said 3 tblspoon of instant mashed potatoes is the normal portion size. I've seen the portions in some reviews and my oldest son orders this dish faithfully, so thats a lie. This is after scraping the potatoes to a pile.

Our last two visits to brickworks on long neck were disappointing. I just picked up our $47 appetizers and they were not what the menu describes. Loaded nachos had burnt chips throughout see picture. The brisket and blue cheese spring rolls had not one iota of a taste of blue cheese in them. The “receipt” picture attached was stapled to the bag - it reads dine in but it was a pick up by me.
The last time we ordered, I was given mussels with marinara when I ordered the mussels with tequila, cilantro, and chili lime broth.i didn’t complain.
I just attempted to call and speak with the manager. I pressed four to do that just that on their options voice menu.. After a few rings, it went to a message that said that the voicemail box was not set up yet, pls call back later. I hung up and dialed back and took the option for ordering over the phone again. It rang several times and then a message that said the voice box was not set up yet, pls call back later. Do better Brickworks!

We felt so welcome when we dashed in to beat a massive summer storm Saturday night! It was my brother’s 50th birthday and we realized upon arrival that our reservation was for the following night, so this was a quick pivot and everyone was very accommodating with our group, including a handful of hungry kiddos.
Once seated after just a 20-minute wait, the cocktails were fresh and delicious, and the peach/burrata salad was soooo good. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entrees and apps. The Swiss mushroom burger was a crowd pleaser.
Mackenzie and Brady were exceedingly helpful, flexible, and kind to us. Thank you for the extra care and creative table puzzle piecing that night! We look forward to returning in the near future!
