Wow, what a nice place and a nice week! Honestly, we were expecting something dark and older— instead we found ourselves in this bright, modern 2-BR unit. Everything was recently renovated- the kitchen was very well-equipped and everything worked. The small living space had a very comfy couch and two chairs. Another surprise- comfortable beds! The a/c was more than adequate for the very hot days we were there. Very clean overall. The outdoor shower is shared with others. One minor inconvenience: the end-to-end driveway is shared with the upstairs tenant (assuming there is one) so we had to coordinate with them to make sure no one was blocked in when they needed to get out. I ended up parking on the street most of the time (they provide two parking permits.) We’d do it again.

Our family really enjoyed this beach rental at 12 Chesapeake. The location can't be beat, it is the second house from the beach! You can hear the ocean from the lovely screened in porch. The living area is large and worked well for our family of 6. Lots of books and puzzles to entertain you.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. Nice appliances.
The bedrooms are small but adequate. Bedrooms could use a furniture refresh.The bathrooms are also small but adequate. Appreciated the tub. Would be nice to add ceiling fans to bedrooms.
GREAT air conditioning, very comfy.
We also appreciated the gas grill outside.

We have stayed at the sunspot multiple times over the last 7 years, but never at this specific condo. It was a wonderful stay! The place was updated very nicely, with a more spacious and smarter layout in the living room/kitchen area than we have had before and it made the stay more comfortable. Everything was very well-organized and put together in a way that allowed easy access and storage of the items we brought. All elements were very clean! Also, everything was labeled. Our kids really enjoyed the day bed/trundle bed option and the small bathroom off of their room. You truly can't beat the views from sunspot. This is not something that could be changed, but it would be important for those who may use the master bedroom to be aware the bathroom is down the hall, so it may not be a quick trip for others who have trouble with frequent nighttime runs. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful! Oh, and the TV was really neat - looked like a painting when not being used. Very cool!
