avid hotel Millsboro - Georgetown South, an IHG Hotel

I've stayed here several times for work and it's now my preferred hotel in the region. The rooms are clean and pleasant, not on a highway or rail line or other source of noise. They have EV charging onsite which is a huge plus for me (and it works, unlike another IHG hotel that I picked specifically because they advertised EV but it was busted). All staff I've interacted with are pleasant and helpful, housekeeping, breakfast, front desk. I wish I could remember more names, but Jade was very kind when I came stumbling in at 1 am after a long drive and Heather has been at the front desk and bustling around the breakfast area several times I've been there, always quick with a funny comment.

Let me get started with this. Beautiful hotel just the rooms are a bit small. The workers and Karen’s staying at the hotel yelled at us kids for sitting in the lobby and getting drinks absolutely disgusting yet middle aged men were sitting and doing the same thing. We got yelled at for playing wiffle ball and football in the parking lot OUTSIDE of the hotel which you can not hear anything and we still got complained about. Absolutely disgusting from these old Karen’s and I would not recommend for a travel baseball team. If you have kids please don’t stay here

What a pleasant surprise finding a clean and friendly with absolutely everything we needed hotel in Millsboro Georgetown area. The staff was fabulous. Maria and her team had everything super clean! The coffee bar with sparkling water made us so happy. The ease of working in the lobby and common areas were so well planned for all needs. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
