Agave was good but fairly average in my opinion. I only tried one item off the menu - the birria quesadilla and I felt like got barely had any flavor. The cheese and barbacoa meat wasn’t mixed very well either - it was like they just placed both separately in the tortilla. Like I said, flavor was kinda weak and the dipping sauce wasn’t impressive either.
Price was fine, I didn’t think what I got was overpriced.

The food was definitely filling. I personally was done eating with sharing the appetizer and only had a few bites of the main course before I had to put my fork down. The waitress brought a partially overflowing margarita (that was delicious), it did however require several napkins to clean up what leaked out. The fundido is an appetizer worth sharing between four people. The crowd at the bar was a bit loud and made of for the place being half empty; made reservations and probably didn't need to. It was a little pricey but would go again during happy hour.

We drove up to Lewes, DE for the day and had a family lunch at Agave. The day was bitterly cold and it was nice to duck into this warm restaurant. I tried their lemonade to start (very refreshing). Others had champagne and margaritas.
We ordered a variety of appetizers to share, including a Mango & avocado salad (👍), empanadas (good), BBQ chicken wings (my friend felt the wings were not cooked with the BBQ sauce, it had just been poured over it...so he was disappointed), chips and queso.
For mains I ordered the Blue cheese & steak quesadillas (so delicious), my cousin got the Caesar salad with Mahi, shrimp and garlic guacamole and fajitas. Overall we were pretty happy. The portions are large. We ordered too many appetizers and most of us could not finish our lunch. Next time,I would just skip that course.
The service was fantastic...very efficient and friendly.
