The moment we stepped in we were welcomed by Donna, who showed us our room and the lovely common space we would share with others in the guest house. The charm of the Addy Sea exudes warmth and history.
It was so enjoyable to sit outdoors on their porch in the rockers to gaze at the dunes and a short walk to step onto the beach.
Our room was perfectly anointed with lovely furniture, king sized four poster bed and beautiful large, marble bathroom..
The breakfasts were excellent, from the different menu choices also the best yoghurt I have ever had or the morning smoothies. The wonderful wait staff servers, charming, personable and fun.
Afternoon tea was a delight from daily selections of ice cream socials, or different mousse choices. Everyday was a happy surprise.
Chef Justin was charming, down to earth but don’t let that you fool you with his expertise in the kitchen!
We enjoyed riding the bicycles into town a short five blocks.
All in all a superb getaway, quiet and a great way to fill one’s soul.

Having gone to Bethany Beach for many, many years, I had never stayed our walked up to Addy Sea. We were gifted a stay as a wedding breakfast and loved every little bit of our stay.
The facilities are beautiful, clean, and filled with Bethany history. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the afternoon tea time. Our stay also included towels, beach chairs and beach umbrellas which made our trip to the beach easy.
If you are in need of a little break from this crazy world, Addy Sea is the perfect place to relax with ease.

I stayed at Addy Sea last week for two nights. I found the accommodations to be excellent. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. The staff were kind and responsive. The other guests were friendly and approachable. Since I was traveling alone this was a nice factor. Overall, a great stay and I would return.
